For all children who have suffered a long separation due to the totalitarian regime.

This book is based on true story. I created it for a small girl who lived in Czechoslovakia in times
of totalitarian regime. Her parents emigrated to France due to political situation and left her at her grandmother house. This girl was only 8 years old and her grandmother had to explain to her why her parents are not able to be with her. It took 4 years till the parents were able to get their daughter from Czechoslovakia. This book is a fairy-tale about a small bird going through the same situation as this girl. It is supposed to explain the situation in kind way and bring some hope.
The text part is separated from the illustration part so the child can watch the illustration when the grandmother is reading it.
